The Simplified Routine of Chen-style Taiji with 22 Movements is a condensed sequence refined from the traditional Chen-style Taijiquan (Old Frame and New Frame). It is an introductory routine specifically designed for enthusiasts of Chen-style Taijiquan and serves as a stepping stone to traditional Taijiquan. The routine features a concise and clear structure, making it easy to learn and practice, which suits the current pace of life. Although it only consists of 22 movements, it retains the rich traditional flavor in terms of movement characteristics and sports style, with movements that are expansive, graceful, continuously flowing, and full of imposing manner.
The Course Features:
– It inherits the authentic Taiji that has been passed down for 400 years and is the oldest martial art form with the largest number of practitioners in Chinese Kung Fu.
– It is the standard introductory routine of Chen-style Taijiquan approved by the Chinese Wushu Association.
– It integrates the path of Tao and martial arts, leading from Tao to martial arts and vice versa, combining fitness and combat skills.
– The movements are standardized with meticulous details, showing a perfect combination of grace and strength, integrating martial arts and dance.
– Instructor: Ma Chang, the 13th-generation successor of Chen-style Taiji and champion of the Chinese Wushu Taijiquan Championships.
